Hello and welcome to BAIYÉ!

My name is Funto and I am the owner and creative director of BAIYÉ.

My grandmother shared her love for travel and jewellery with me, timeless pieces with exciting stories: a visit to Rome in the 1960s, a market in Melbourne or a merchant from Dubai.

What started as a personal ritual became something bigger: a belief that the pieces we wear should carry a story, not just shine.

So when it was time to get married I struggled with finding unique jewellery that had meaning, embodying the joy I felt and showcasing the time-honoured craft of making jewellery. I ended up having a smith create a one-of-a-kind pendant that I strung with pearls myself. The joy, connection and fulfilment I feel every time I wear that piece is what I am intent on creating for you on your special day.

Today, I design handcrafted, heirloom-inspired bridal jewellery for the woman who wants more than a beautiful accessory. She wants a piece with a story. One she can wear on her wedding day and pass down long after.
